WXW Cruiserweight Championship

This is a chronological list of WXW Cruiserweight Champions. The WXW Cruiserweight Championship is a professional wrestling title created in 1996 as part of Top Rope Productions and World Xtreme Wrestling when the promotion was renamed in 1998.[1]

Kale 2 July 11, 1999 Allentown, PA Defeated Shane Black to win the held-up unified titles. Sugaa defends both the WXW World Heavyweight and Cruiserweight titles until relinquishing the WXW Cruiserweight Championship due to exceeding the cruiserweight division weight limit on July 6, 2000.

Shortly after winning the WXW Cruiserweight Championship, the 14-year-old Afa, Jr. is forced to surrender the title due to exceeding weight limitations.
Zero Gravity 1 September 1999 Won a tournament to win the vacant title.
"Superstar" Shane Black 3 January 14, 2000 Plymouth, PA Defeated Zero Gravity in a ladder match.
The title is voluntarily vacated by Shane Black to be put up in a best of 3 match series between Black and Zero Gravity .
"Superstar" Shane Black 3 January 14, 2000 Plymouth, PA Defeated Zero Gravity in a Best 2 out of 3 Series to regain the title. Shane Black defeated Sugaa to unify WXW Cruiserweight Title and WXW World Heavyweight Title on June 2, 2000 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
The Heavyweight and Cruiserweight titles are temporarily unified following Black's victory over WXW Heavyweight Champion Sugaa on June 2, 2000.
Sugaa 1 June 3, 2000 Allentown, PA Defeated Shane Black to win held-up unified titles, however the title is later vacated on July 6, 2000 after Sugaa relinquishes WXW Cruiserweight title for exceeding weight limit.
Supreme Lee Great 1 July 6, 2000 Hazleton, PA Defeated Zero Gravity, Thorn and Cody Cash in a Four Way match to win the title.

Shane Black 5 July 13, 2001 Allentown, PA Defeated Minoru Fujita and Little Guido in a three Way match to win vacant title.
Although Big Poppa Pete defeated Shan Black for the title on October 13, the title was returned to Black after it is revealed Big Poppa Pete was 5 pounds over the weight limit for the cruiserweight division.
Tommy Suede 1 February 16, 2002 Hazleton, PA Defeated Supreme Lee Great who substituted for the absent Shane Black.
