WTSN-LD channel 36 is the Me-TV affiliate in Evansville, Indiana. It is licensed in Evansville. Formerly a Pax, UPN and My Network TV affiliate, it became an affiliate of America One in June 2009.

Until 2009, WTSN-LP was co-owned by the Evansville Low Power Partnership and Communications Corporation of America (ComCorp), which owns Evansville CBS affiliate WEVV. WEVV carries My Network TV on its digital signal, on digital channel 44.2.

On May 19, 2009 WTSN-LP ceased broadcasting My44 and MyNetwork programming, and on June 1, the station flash cut to digital as WTSN-LD and changed its affiliation to America One.

In August 2010, both WTSN-LD and its translator, WYYW-LP (see below) were granted Class A status by the Federal Communications Commission. The Class A designation protects them from being relocated to another channel by a full-power station.

In November 2011, WTSN-LD and WYYW-LP became an affiliate of the classic programming network Me-TV.[1]

Translator

WTSN-LD has one translator, WYYW-LP channel 41. From March 16, 2007 to January 12, 2009, channel 36 was the translator, and its call letters were W36DF.

On February 23, 2009, WTSN and WYYW switched channels, and the Evansville Low Power Partnership also applied for a construction permit to make channel 36 a low-power digital station serving a larger area around Evansville.

From 1995 until 2007, there was a translator on channel 56, W56DN.
