WRMO is an American commercial radio station licensed to Milbridge, Maine. The station is currently silent and will remain off the air until a new owner has been found.[1] A U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) transaction page indicates that the station has been sold to Pine Tree Broadcasting.[2]
The station originally signed on in the Summer of 2005 as a classic rock station, only to fall silent a few months later after the death of owner Lyle Evans.
From September 2006 to October 20, 2010 WRMO programmed an adult standards/oldies adult contemporary format. WRMO also carried Portland Sea Dogs baseball and the station manager was Mike McSorley, broadcasting from studios in Steuben, Maine. Citing financial difficulties, the station fell silent on October 20, 2010.
