History

The station went on the air as WDOC-FM on 1979-04-03. Then on 1981-08-07, the station changed its call sign to the current WQHY.^[2]

Eric Larson, (2001–2002) is now operations director in Lexington, Kentucky.
Jessica Sharp, (2003–2004) is now operations director for WSIP A-F in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Dan Baisden, (2005–2006) is now operations director for Grenax Broadcasting II in Flagstaff, Arizona.
James Larson, (2007–2008) is now program director in Pikeville, Kentucky.
