WOLX-FM (94.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Baraboo, Wisconsin, and serving the Madison, Wisconsin, area. The station is owned and operated by Entercom Communications, and airs a classic hits format, concentrating on music from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. WOLX broadcasts from a transmitter in Devil's Lake State Park near Baraboo in Sauk County, Wisconsin; it's signal can reach 33 of Wisconsin's 72 counties, reaching as far away as Tomah,WI, Rockford, IL, and West Suburban Milwaukee.

The station previously aired Adult Contemporary and Easy listening formats prior to switching to oldies music, initially concentrating on 50s and 60s music (as "Oldies 94.9") and transitioning over time to its current classic hits approach (under the simple "94.9 WOLX" branding). WOLX is noted in Madison for airing all-Christmas music, usually from Thanksgiving to Christmas, although the station has started playing holiday music as early as November 5 (doing so in 2009).

On-air personalities on WOLX include Scott Miller, who joined WOLX as its new morning host on November 9, 2010,[1] working alongside Heather Moore and newsreader Adam Elliott. (Moore and Elliott were previously teamed with longtime WOLX station personality Fletcher Keyes [Fletch], who left the station in August 2010.) National voices include midday personality Ken Merson (voicetracked from Baltimore, MD), afternoon drive host Willie B (voicetracked from Entercom's Memphis cluster), and nationally-syndicated host Tom Kent at night.
