Programming

With the demise of Citadel Media's "Timeless" satellite feed, music programming is now provided by "Classic Hits" from Citadel Media.

Station Sold

In July 2009 WMSG and sisters WKHJ and WWHC were sold for $830,000 to Radiowerks Broadcasting.[1] In May 2011, WMSG and its sister stations were ordered into receivership by the Garrett County MD Circuit Court. John Culp was appointed as receiver. The Federal Communications Commission approved the transfer of the license on May 19, 2011.

Format Flip

In February 2010, WMSG switched from their long-standing Adult Standards format to one of Oldies and Classic rock. The station, though, continues to carry the "Where Memories Sound Great" slogan.
