WLCI-LP (97.5 FM) is a campus radio station licensed to Nelsonville, Ohio, USA. The station is currently owned by Hocking Technical College.[1] Its programming consists of a mix of classic rock and student-selected current or classic rock music.
The station is operated entirely by student volunteers and one paid, part-time student station manager. WLCI is engineered and supervised by Harry Tompkins, Coordinating Instructor of the Broadcast Production and Engineering technology at Hocking College. The station offers Hocking College students a chance to try their hand at being an on-air disc jockey, or other radio personnel. Even though Hocking College does offer a degree in Broadcast Production and Engineering, any student from any technology can volunteer to work at WLCI-LPFM.
