WKDZ-FM (106.5 FM) is radio station licensed in Cadiz, Kentucky. WKDZ-FM is owned by Ham Broadcasting. D.J. Everett serves as Ham Broadcasting owner/president. Beth Mann is the station general manager.
WKDZ-FM broadcasts a country music format and serves Trigg, Christian, Caldwell, Lyon, and Todd counties in Kentucky.[1] In addition to its usual music programming, WKDZ-FM is an affiliate of the Tennessee Titans football radio network.[2] and the Kentucky Wildcats radio network.[3] WKDZ-FM is unique in that it boasts a full-time news department in house. WKDZ-FM has been recognized many times for its community service and even won a Marconi Award for "Small Market Station Of The Year" in 2008. WKDZ-FM has been consistently nominated for, or won, the coveted NAB Crystal Award for Community Service.
In 2004, Ham Broadcasting moved from their former Will Jackson Road location to a new 4,100-square-foot (380 m2) facility at Broadbent Square in east Cadiz.[4]
