WGGY
WGGY 101.3 FM, also known as Froggy 101, is a country music radio station that broadcasts out of Scranton, Pennsylvania, it's city of license. The station frequency is 101.3 FM, with an in-channel booster in Honesdale, and is repeated on WGGI 95.9 in Benton.
Both stations are owned and operated by Entercom Communications.
Froggy 101 has received national attention through NBC's hit series The Office because character Dwight Schrute has a Froggy 101 bumper sticker displayed on a file cabinet. "The Doc Show" is the well known staple of the station, airing from 5-9am on weekday mornings.
Froggy 101 WGGY from Scranton should not be confused with Froggy 101 WFGE from State College. These stations are very similar and use similar logos. These stations are on different frequencies: WFGE is on 101.1 and WGGY is on 101.3. WFGE is also owned by a different owner, Forever Broadcasting (the originator of the Froggy franchise) from Altoona.
Froggy Bumper Sticker
The Froggy 101 bumper sticker can be seen in the opening credits of the NBC Series The Office. The Froggy 101 bumper sticker can also be seen in Season 8 Episode 3 on the forklift that Dwight crashes into a wall of the warehouse, and in Season 4 Episode 4 when Michael goes to work night shifts at a call center. It is also visible in Season 8 Episode 2 at the tattoo parlor. This logo was designed at Keuka Printing by David Spengler.
