WCOD-FM (106.1 FM) is a Hot Adult Contemporary formatted radio station licensed to Hyannis, Massachusetts. It is owned by Qantum Communications. WCOD's sister stations include WEII, WCIB, and WXTK.
One of the oldest FM signals on Cape Cod, WCOD was ranked third in the Winter 2008 Arbitron ratings[1]. Some popular artists to hear on this station include Taylor Swift, Kings Of Leon, and Usher. Current DJ's include Dan and Stephanie in the morning, Janet Birtchfield, Kevin & Co. and The Billy Bush Show. Weekend DJ's include Trevor, Jadd and Ricky B.
Prior to 2005, 106 WCOD was owned by Boch Broadcasting. In 2009, it was announced that sister station WRZE (now WEII) would switch from CHR to an all-sports format. Plans were made to move some of the staff over to WCOD. On March 16, 2009, the popular Dan and Stephanie morning show made its appearance on the station.
