Daily Life in Vordorf During the winter months of Vordorf the villagers gather for the ceremonious burning of all the dead drift gathered from "Waschbär Tot" lake. All villagers gather around the fire for warmth and community. In the spring Vordorf is at it's peek for tourists, tourists from all over and come to watch annual sheep shearing, the farmers heard the sheep down the dusty dirt road and try to shear them as they walk down the streets of Vordorf. Children are let out of school for the day to serve beer for the tourist and all families open their home for visitors since there is no other places for them to stay. In the summer time, water is gathered from the town watering hole, the oldest boy is to go and gather the pales of water and bring them back for it to be equally distributed amongst the town. In the past incidences of water being drunk by the chosen children have happened in which a strong punishment of fifty lashes are to be given 3 tims a day for 3 months to show the child respect since water is valuable thing in Vordorf and highly valued. Every Christmas child pass along dead rats as presents or any other goods found from the town's salvation army store. Vordorfians enjoy fruit cakes and wearing the traditional Vordorf hat which looks something like a paper boat while they sing Dominik the Christmas Donkey. Crime does not occur in Vordorf but the few times it does criminals are brought to the Vordorf jail which is a giant ditch in the farmer's field. Graffiti is seen quite often but there is only one boy who does it and he is a friendly face to see around town so the act is not frowned upon.
