Visaltia (Βισαλτία) is a municipality in the Serres Prefecture, Greece. The seat of the municipality is in Nigrita.[1] The ancient city of Vergi is located here.[2]
The municipality Visaltia was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 4 former municipalities, that became municipal units:[1]
