State Route 420, also known as Janneys Lane and part of Seminary Road, is a primary state highway in Alexandria, Virginia, United States. It runs from Interstate 395 east to State Route 7 (King Street).
Seminary Road continues west, unnumbered, to the Fairfax County line, where it continues as State Route 716 to SR 7 (Leesburg Pike) near State Route 244 (Columbia Pike) in Bailey's Crossroads.
SR 420 is not posted at all along its routing.
SR 420 was assigned to its present location, previously unnumbered, in the mid-1980s. However, as it was once part of Fairfax County, the Seminary Road portion of SR 420 was numbered SR 716 until it was annexed by Alexandria in the 1950s.
Seminary Road is named for the Virginia Theological Seminary, which is located at its intersection with State Route 402 (Quaker Lane).
