Vidhubala (Malayalam: വിധുബാല) is a former Malayalam film actress who started her career in the mid-1970s and retired when she was at the peak of her career.[1] She is the daughter of Indian magician K. Bhagyanath.

Vidhubala acted in over 100 Malayalam films. Her first movie was School Master, in which she acted as an eight-year-old girl. She made her debut as a lead actor in Ponnkku Thanga Manasu (1973), a Tamil film and received an award in the "Best Actress" category. In 1974, ten years after her first movie, she made her debut as the heroine opposite Prem Nazir in Hariharan's College Girl.[2] Vidhubala acted opposite many of the leading actors of her time, including Prem Nazir, Madhu, Vincent, Mohan, Jayan, Soman, and Kamal Haasan. She quit acting in 1981. Her last film was Abhinayam, directed by Baby.
Born to Indian independence activists Bhagyanath and Sulochana, Vidhubala took to acting only to oblige her relatives or friends of relatives.[1] She is the sister of cinematographer Madhu Ambat. She is married to Murali Kumar, who was the producer of some of her films.
Vidhubala, born on May 24, 1954, is a graduate in psychology.
Vidhubala hosts a well accepted family reality show Kadhayallithu Jeevitham on Amrita TV.
