Vengapuram or Vengapuram Agraharam (Telugu: వెంగాపురం) is a village located in Balijipeta mandalam in Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh State in India.
It is located about 58 kilometers from Vizianagaram city.[1]

As per elders talk some people were migrated from around villages most related cast of koppala velama and brahmins. This village also called Agraharam (which village has have a specific street for Bhramins). An older name for Vengapuram is Pentapadu; in the 1980s its name changed to Vengapuram.
Vengapuram is near the town of Bobbili, a historical town famous for the Battle of Bobbili.

Around 4000 people now live in the village. Most of people depend on agricultural and related activities, now recently most people are getting jobs and migrating to other villages. In this village there is a higher male youth population than female youth as 30:2 probable ratio.
This village is very much famous as it contains the Brahmin agraharam still with many Brahmins living in one location. There are plenty of engineers and doctors from the very old village of Balijipeta mandal. Cricket is considered as the major sporting event. Ganapati navaratrulu is pretty much famous and the idols of Ganesha being kept in the mandapams since 50 years or more. All the communities will be working with coordination for enrichment of the village. Mr.Gullupilli AppalaNaidu is the president of the village since 25 years who brought consistent development in the entire village with beautiful roads and water works.
