This is is a village in nagaroor grama panchayath .The village is beautiful with its greenery. A small river pass through the village which gives water to the farmers who cultivate paddy, tapioca, coconut tree along the fields. the small hill areas are cultivated with rubber tree and coconut trees. A government owned Lower Primary School and Two Management Schools are there in Vellalloor. People live in peace though different religion and culture with different political parties are available.All children go to school and the education among girl child is high. The farmers grow cows and two Milk Co operative Societies are also available
