Veljko Bulajić (born 22 March 1928 in Vilusi, Nikšić, Kingdom of Yugoslavia), today (Montenegro) is a Croatian film director and actor of Montenegrin descent, most of his life working in Croatia. He wrote and directed the 1969 Yugoslavian war film Battle of Neretva, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.[1]
