Vehicle registration plates of Burma
Burmese license plates has red background with Burmese numbers in white. The system is XX/XXXX. There are no location separater. 0 is not used as the first number (except for MMF-owned vehicles). The first car's license plate is 10/0001. There are different plates for each type of vehicle. Most types has been cancelled since 1995, and MMF plates will start on January 1, 2012.
