Van Van Wey (July 9, 1924 - July 14, 1991) was a retired NASCAR Grand National Series driver from West Terre Haute, Indiana, U.S.A.

Summary

He occasionally drove in the 1954 and 1955 seasons predominatly in his #10 Ford vehicle that was owned by Ray Fletcher.[1]

Van Van's driving experience consisted of 876 laps of racing — the equivalent of 1,140.6 miles (1,835.6 km) of racing action.[2] Starting an average of 40th place and finishing an average of 26th place, Wey would earn exactly $555 in career winnings ($4,552.11 in today's money).[2] One of his notable appearance would be at the 1955 Southern 500; one of the most prestigious NASCAR races done prior to the inaugural running of the Daytona 500.[2] During his career, Van Wey would managed to qualify for all of his races.[3]
