Vallensbæk is a Danish town, and seat of the Vallensbæk Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. As of 2011 its population was of 14,445.[1]

It is a Copenhagen suburb located (only 18 minutes drive from Copenhagen) by Køge Bugt Strandpark, 16 km in southwest of the internal Copenhagen. It is commonly divided into Vallensbæk Nordmark, Vallensbæk Strand and Vallensbæk Landsby.
The town borders with Ishøj in west, Brøndby Strand in the east, and Albertslund in the north.
Vallensbæk is a very lengthy and diverse municipality. In the south it is a beach, S-Train station center and housing. In the middle is village with church from the Middle Ages. To the north uniform residential neighborhoods.
Vallensbæk Beach has good bathing facilities and a nice marina with small restaurants and maritime atmosphere. There you can really enjoy nature with beautiful walks all year round and swimming in summer.
The church was built between 1150-1200. It then consisted of a Romanesque chancel and nave, built in kridtkvadre. The west end of the ship consists of another masonry that has been added so that the nave was extended westward.
The tower was added in the years after the 1500th The porch was renewed by a thorough restoration of the church in 1865.
Close Vallensbæk is also the famous museum Arken as well as scenery with trails for biking, jogging or walking.
The town has three schools: Pilehave school (North Field), Vallensbæk school (village) and Egholm School (Beach).
