Valkur (pronounced val-KURR[2]) is a fictional Faerûnian demipower deity of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. He is the deity of sailors, ships, favorable winds and naval combat. Valkur's philosophy puts him in conflict with the capricious ocean-goddess Umberlee.

Valkur was first described in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Set's "Cyclopedia of the Realms" booklet (1987).[3] Valkur is mentioned in the book The Savage Frontier (1988) by Paul Jaquays, as one of the deities that the Northmen occasionally worship.[4]
Valkur is further detailed in Powers & Pantheons (1997).[5]
Valkur appears in 3rd edition in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting book (2001),[6] and was further described in Faiths and Pantheons (2002).[2]
Valkur appears in 4th edition in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide (2008). In this edition, he is the exarch of sailors.[7]
Valkur's symbol is a shield bearing a cloud with three lightning bolts, and his favored weapon is a cutlass known as "The Captain's Cutlass".[2]
Valkur's philosophy often puts him in conflict with the capricious ocean-goddess Umberlee and he is a sworn enemy of the Deities of Fury.
Valkur's dogma emphasises living life with vigor and striving against the elements.[1]
