Valangaiman (Tamil: வலங்கைமான்) (also spelt as Valangiman) is a panchayat town in the Valangaiman taluk of Thiruvarur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Valangiman is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 1 m (3.3 ft). It is situated about 20 kilometres north-west of the district seat of Tiruvarur and 10 kilometres south of Kumbakonam.
As of 2001[update] India census[2], Valangaiman had a population of 11,285. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Valangaiman has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 63%. In Valangaiman, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Valangiman belongs to Nannilam assembly constituency (SC) is part of Nagapattinam (Lok Sabha constituency).[3]
