Vad is a commune in Cluj County, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Bogata de Jos, Bogata de Sus, Calna, Cetan, Curtuiuşu Dejului, Vad and Valea Groşilor.
According to the census from 2002 there was a total population of 2,143 people living in this commune. Of this population, 97.62% are ethnic Romanians, 2.00% ethnic Rroma and 0.37% are ethnic Hungarians.[1]
