Uzeir (Arabic: عزير; Hebrew: עֻזֵיר) is an Arab-Bedouin village in northern Israel. Located near Nazareth Illit in the Lower Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of al-Batuf Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 2,600.[1]
The village was established at the end of the 19th century by sons of the 'Arab al-Heib tribe which also populate the nearby towns of Rumat al-Heib and Tuba az-Zanghariyya.
