Utnur or Utnoor (Telugu: ఉట్నూరు) is a village and a Mandal in Adilabad district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

According to Indian census, 2001, the demographic details of Utnoor mandal is as follows:[2]
Utnoor village has a population of 15,437 in 2001.[3]
It is inhabited by Gonds, Kolams, Pardhans, Banjaras, Thotis, Telugus, and other ethnic groups.
There is a Rajgond Fort near the Kumram Bheemu Complex where the Project Monitoring Resource Centre (PMRC) and its Guest house are situated.
The Gonds worship Persa Pen, whose symbols are a piece of cloth, black hair from the tail of a cow and a stick. Kolams worship Bheem ayyak, whose symbols are Peacock feathers in a wooden holder with figures of Sun, Moon, horse carved upon it.
Every Sunday there is a Market in Utnoor.
Dr.K. Thomasaiah Associate Professor, Department of Linguistics, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu Unverstiy, Hyderabad, G V Ramesh, MLE Linguist for the Rajiv Vidya Mission in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has been working for multilingual education since November 2003. Through the Andhra Pradesh government, he has been involved in the development of textbooks for classes 1-5 written in the Gond and Kolam languages, and, with Mark Penny, Computer Linguistic Consultant, SIL, has been developing dictionaries in Gondi and Kolami tribal languages for the Multilingual Education Programme in Andhra Pradesh. In the tribal area of Utnoor, the Rajiv Vidya Mission (Sarva Siksha Abhiyan) has implemented Mother Tongue based Multilingual Education Program in the primary achools of Gond and Kolam.
There is a a Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) serving the area, the Project Officer of which is Ilambarithi K. Meetings of ITDA will be conducted in PMRC. There is only one District Educational Officer (Agency) from Pardhan Tribal community who is in the position at present in ITDA with the name of Mr. Mesram Manohar.
