The University of Bath School of Management in Bath, England, is the international business school of University of Bath. Established in 1966, it is one of the oldest business schools in the UK. It offers a range of programmes including undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD, as well as executive education for individuals and organisations. The world-ranked Bath MBA is offered as a one-year full-time programme or as a part-time Executive programme. The School of Management is the Management School of the University of Bath. Overlooking the UNESCO-designated World Heritage City of Bath, the campus is modern with some of the best sporting facilities in the country.

The University of Bath School of Management consistently achieves both top research (ranked 5th, RAE 2008) and teaching ('excellent') ratings in the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) assessments.[1]
Bath is one of a select number of international business schools who has been accredited by EQUIS, the European Foundation for Management Development's (EFMD) quality inspectorate.[2] The Bath MBA Bath has been fully accredited since 1976 by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).[3]
The School is frequently recognised in external rankings. In the 2012 Bath is ranked in 1st place for Accounting and Finance, and 5th place for Business Studies by the Complete University Guide, published by The Independent.[4] In the 2009 Bath is placed joint 2nd place with Imperial College in its Business Studies category. Of the top four ranked Schools, Bath had the highest student satisfaction result and the second highest figure in the Graduate Prospects category.[5]
At postgraduate level, its MSc in Management is ranked 6th place in the UK by the Financial Times[6] and the Bath MBA is continually ranked as one of the top programmes in the world (Financial Times and Economist Intelligence Unit's Which MBA?[7] It was recently ranked 3rd place in the UK in the Beyond Grey Pinstripes ranking which looks at how well a School incorporates social and environmental issues into the MBA curriculum. In this ranking Bath’s business and society research is ranked 8th in the world.[8]

The Bath MBA is an intensive and rigorous world-class programme which recruits highly motivated, experienced managers from across the world. It is designed for those with a minimum of three years' work experience and is available in both full- and part-time, executive formats. The ethos of The Bath MBA is to look beyond business processes and techniques to emphasise self-awareness, intuition, cross-cultural sensitivity and entrepreneurship skills as well as a socially responsible and ethical approach to business and management The Bath MBA has been AMBA-accredited since 1976[3] and is in the Financial Times and Economist Intelligence Unit’s global top 100.
As a research-led institution, research degrees represent the pinnacle of academic study at the University of Bath School of Management. The School offers two research degrees: a PhD and a specialist Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Higher Education Management.
The School's high research output is signified by its ranking of 6th in Europe in the Financial Time’s ‘research rank’ category. This is calculated according to the number of faculty publications in 40 leading international academic and practitioner journals. With 97% of its faculty holding a doctorate, Bath also appears in the top 5 in Europe in this important category.[3] The School is ranked 5th in the latest UK government’s Research Assessment Exercise (RAE).[1]
The School of Management has a faculty of 90 teaching and research staff, including visiting academics, with a support team of around 70 managerial and administrative staff. All academics are members of a teaching subject group, a research cluster and often a research centre/ network. Each teaching subject group has a group convenor or head and each research centre has a director.
