Unhel is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ujjain district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

As of 2001^[update] India census,^[2] Unhel had a population of 13,955. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Unhel has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 44%. In Unhel, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
