Uludag University (Turkish: Uludağ Üniversitesi) is a university located in Bursa, Turkey. The research and education conducted by the university have an emphasis on medicine, engineering, natural sciences and art. In particular, Faculty of Medicine and Mechanical Engineering Department have several well-reputed academicians in their organizations. The official language of instruction at Uludag University is Turkish.

Bursa Faculty of Medicine (once under İstanbul University) which was established in 1970, and Bursa Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences which was founded in 1974, formed the basis of Uludag University. The university was established in 1975 under the name of Bursa University and the university took its current name in 1982.

The university's students created a Internet-based forum like a dictionary called "Uludagsozluk". University students and other people can create accounts and share thoughts but not like a forum. There are other dictionaries called itusozluk, ciusozluk, and eksisozluk.
The university includes 11 faculties, 1 school on the undergraduate level, 12 vocational schools, 1 conservatoire, 3 institutes, 11 research centers and 6 departments that are under Presidency. In the academic year 2007-2008, there were 44,048 students enrolled in the university.[1]
Uludağ University has also become known for its unfinished swimming pool, which has been under construction for more than a decade. The construction site still stands half-finished and has long been a subject of rumors and discussions among students and teaching staff.
