The United States Fund for UNICEF is the United States non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) that supports the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). Founded in 1947 by Helenka Pantaleoni, it is the oldest of the 36 UNICEF National Committees that support UNICEF worldwide[1] through fundraising, advocacy and education.[2]
The members of the National Board of Directors are James A. Block, Nelson Chai, Gary M. Cohen, Mary Callahan Erdoes, Pamela Fiori, Dolores Rice Gahan, Bruce S. Gordon, Lance John Hemmer, Albert J. Kaneb, Anthony Lake, Peter Lamm, Téa Leoni, Tony Pantaleoni, Susan E. Rice, Amy Robbins, Henry Schleiff, Kathi Seifert, Jim Walton, and Sherrie Rollins Westin.[3]
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is headquartered in Manhattan in New York City[4] and maintains regional offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles.[5]
