Turkey Mountain is a hill occupying a wide area on the west side of the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The summit is 300 feet above the river, offering a good view of Tulsa. It is part of the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness, a 300-acre area that stretches from I-44 to 71st Street. The main entrance to the wilderness area is at 67th Street and Elwood Avenue in West Tulsa.
Aside from being a popular spot for cycling, it is also known as the site of the "Turkey Mountain inscriptions", petroglyphs believed by some enthusiasts to be left by pre-Columbian European travelers.
