Troščine is a small village to the north of Polica in the Grosuplje municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Saint Mary and belongs to the Polica parish. It is a Gothic building with an older nave.[3]
