Triantafyllia, Florina

Triantafyllia and Lagen in the local slavo-Macedonian dialect (Greek: Τριανταφυλλιά, Мacedonian/Bulgarian: Лагино or Лаген[1]) is a village in the municipality of Florina, West Macedonia, Greece. The population was 81 in 1981 and it grew to 101 by 1991.[2] This picturesque village is set amongst the mountains of Northern Greece, on the slopes of Mount Vernon, well away from the main roads. The town has stone architecture. Until 1927 the name of the town was Lageni.[3]
