Tremendosaur is a Los Angeles based sketch comedy troupe founded in 2006 by Justin Michael and Jacob Reed. Tremendosaur has created numerous comedic films, shorts, and parody videos. The group operates a web site under the same name that showcases their collaborations. The site also includes a blog as well as a podcast.

Their short films have been featured on the front pages of YouTube, CollegeHumor, UCBComedy, Current TV and others. They have also been screened live at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre and Caroline's Comedy Club in New York.

Members

Justin and Jacob both attended the University of Southern California, where the duo met as cast members of Second Nature Improv.

Notable productions

Their shorter sketches include Simon & Carfunkel, Beericorns, Video Will, Inches Away From Ordinary, and Five Second Rule.

Their parody of The Number 23 (called The Number 24) has enjoyed more internet fame than any of the group's other shorts, having been featured under the YouTube comedy category in 10 different countries.[1]

On October 26, 2009 Tremendosaur produced their first short for Cracked.com, Curse of the Duck Hunt Dog. Since then, they have produced two more sketches for the internet comedy site: "Home Alone: Retribution" and "Toy Story: The College Years." They also appeared in a Cracked sketch featuring Aisha Tyler in early 2010.

Television Work

In early 2007, Tremendosaur was hired by Current TV to as commentators on the cable network's "Current Lowdown" series. Shortly after, Tremendosaur was hired to produce a short entitled "Halloweenies" as part of the network's "Current Rant" series. In December, they produced another holiday-themed short entitled "Holiday Shmoliday."

In November 2008, the group produced a third holiday-themed short for the network; "November Holidays," which focused on the obscure holidays in the month of November.

During the summer of 2008, Reed and Michael were hired by Playboy TV to host the new show E-rotic. The series began airing in April 2009.

Since then, the two have written for Matt Besser's Comedy Central pilot This Show Will Get You High and produced branded content for Universal Music Group, Red Bull, Hot Wheels, Mattel, T-Mobile and many other companies.
