Trachelyopterichthys is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Auchenipteridae. It includes two species, T. anduzei and T. taeniatus.[1] T. anduzei originates from the Upper Orinoco River basin. T. taeniatus originates from the Upper Amazon River basin.[1] T. taeniatus grows up to about 15.0 centimetres (5.9 in) TL.[2]
