Quotes About Her Work

"The cast is uniformly winning, but Ms. Chimo’s Lauren stands out as a symbol of childlike authenticity."[10] - Anita Gates, New York Times

"...Chimo turns out to be a master of the comic silent reaction."[11] - Elisabeth Vincentelli, New York Post

"Ms. Chimo, so superb as the mousy nerd in Annie Baker’s “Circle Mirror Transformation,” proves equally terrific as this cold, confident but emotionally brittle manipulator." [12] - Charles Isherwood, New York Times

“She’s like a predatory beast, slinging herself around, arching her back, flinging her lioness’s mane of hair. It feels like only someone who has had years and years of dance training would be able to be in that much control and command of her body.”[13] - Trip Cullman, director of Bachelorette

"If, at the same time, you could meet the shy, expressionless Lauren, mumbling into the wall of her red hoodie, and the glittering, claws-extended Regan, the meanest predator on the hunt, it would be hard to believe that they are the same person underneath."[14] - Erik Piepenburg, New York Times
