Toymaster is a national association of locally owned specialist toy shops who combine to bring you real service and real value. The group was created in 1977, and consists of around 180 stores across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, who are members of the Toymaster group. Toymaster is a mutuality, a non-profit making organisation, which is wholly owned by its members and every new member by definition also becomes a voting shareholder. Toymaster’s Mission Statement is, “To Help Our Members Trade More Profitably”.
Toymaster has two types of members, members who brand their stores or toy departments “Toymaster” (Branded Members) and Associate Members, who by size or choice, choose not to trade under the Toymaster Brand. Associate members have all the financial benefits of being a member — but no access to the brand and marketing program. Each store is different, and is independently owned and operated.
