Torolab

Torolab is an artist collective, founded in Tijuana in 1995 by Raúl Cardenas Osuna (Mazatlán, Sinaloa, 1969). The themes they have developed range from research on the identity of the border region, to housing and security to community building and survival. Their work includes such things as Urban Interventions, Media Projects, Construction Systems, Survival Units and everyday things like furniture and clothing.

In 2001 Torolab had a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego[1] and in 2002 they participated in La Biennale de Montréal.[2]

They are represented by Galería OMR.[3]
