Tor Bernhard Gausen

Tor Bernhard Gausen (also known as Walkman[1]) is a famous[2] underground music composer, known for his computer-tracked music[3] on the Commodore Amiga. Hardy Hard (AKA Kay Lippert) released a song called Silver Surfer[4] based on Gausen's Beams of light. For a time he was associated with the Cryptoburners demo group.[5]

His most well-known MOD (considered a "hit" among the tracking community of the early 1990s) was klisje paa klisje,[6] which was written using sound samples and only four tracks. klisje, considered a very influential piece,[7] received a 9/10 rating at The Mod Archive.[8] It was very popular at the time, and the samples used in that piece appeared in many pieces that were influenced by it. It has also been covered by several artists.[9]

It is believed that he has green hair.

He has also written music for demos and games,[10] such as Dropoly for the iPhone.
