Arnoldi Anthony "Tony" Cruz (August 18, 1986 in Palm Beach, Florida) is a Minor League Baseball catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.
From Okaloosa-Walton College and Middle Georgia College, Cruz was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 26th round (802nd overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft.
On May 23, 2011, Cruz was called up for the first time when Gerald Laird was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right index finger fracture.[1] On May 24, 2011, Tony Cruz made his major league debut as a starter. He went 3 for 5 with 2 singles and a double. He was optioned to the minors on August 12.[2]
