Tomtor

Tomtor is the name of several rural localities in the Sakha Republic, Russia. The most notable one is on the Kolyma Highway. Thirty kilometers (19 mi) northwest is Oymyakon, known chiefly for recording the coldest temperature on Earth at a locality with permanent, year-round habitation (thus not counting Antarctica). Tomtor has a small airport with weekly flights to Yakutsk and Ust-Nera.
