Tomihisa Taue (田上 富久 Taue Tomihisa?, born December 10, 1956), is the mayor of the Japanese city of Nagasaki; he first took office in 2007. He was a graduate from Kyushu University, and majored in jurisprudence. Iccho Itoh was his predecessor. In 2007 he has criticized Fumio Kyuma, then the Minister of Defense, as the mayor of Nagasaki for his remark on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.[1][2]
