Tom Miller (born 29 June 1990 in Ely, England) is an English football player who currently plays for Newport County.
Miller, a defender or midfielder, started his youth career at amateur side Littleport Town. He moved to Ipswich Town before joining local rivals Norwich City. He was Norwich's Young Players Player of the Year in 2008.[1]
Miller was given a chance at Rangers in Summer 2008 thanks to former Norwich assistant boss Jim Duffy who offered the youngster help should he ever need it after impressing while Duffy was on the coaching staff at Carrow Road.[2]
He was signed by League of Ireland side Dundalk in February 2010 after impressing on trial and made his debut for the club on 5 March 2010.[1] In January 2011, Miller joined Newport County.
During a pre-season match with Bolton Wanderers on 30 July 2011, Miller was involved in a clash with Bolton midfielder Lee Chung-Yong which resulted in a broken leg for the South Korea international that initial reports said would rule him out for a minimum of nine months, but by early September, Lee was hopeful that he would return by early 2012.[3] Miller was substituted straight away.[4]
