Toivakka is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland, near Jyväskylä and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 2,430 (31 January 2011)[2] and covers an area of 413.94 square kilometres (159.82 sq mi) of which 52.44 km2 (20.25 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 6.72 inhabitants per square kilometre (17.4 /sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
