The discography of Tinchy Stryder, a Ghanaian British recording artist, consists of three studio albums, one compilation album (with Roll Deep), one collaboration album, four extended plays, four mixtapes (including one with Roll Deep), 15 singles (including one promotional single, and one other charted single), 5 singles as a featured artist (including two charity singles), and nine collaborations.

Tinchy Stryder was a recording artist who throughout his music career mainly practiced the grime music genre from 2002–2007, and was a former member of the grime crew Roll Deep. In 2002, the well-known grime collective Roll Deep was formed, and included Tinchy Stryder and Dizzee Rascal. They were making music that was a derivative of UK Garage. For a while there was not even a name for it. The label "grime" was the one that stuck.[1]

In 2007, Tinchy Stryder released his debut solo studio album, Star in the Hood, on the independent record label Takeover Entertainment Ltd—a subdivision of Live Nation with distribution through Universal Island Records in the UK and Sony Music Entertainment—in August 2007. This album spawned two main singles, "Breakaway", which was released on 9 April 2007 and Something About Your Smile, released on 6 August 2007, with British singer-songwriter, Cylena Cymone. Bonus track "Mainstream Money" was also released as an underground single in November 2007.

In 2009, Tinchy Stryder released his second solo studio album, Catch 22, which was mainly influenced by the electro hop and alternative hip hop genres. He released his second single from the album, Catch 22, with Universal Island Records entitled "Take Me Back" with long-time collaborator Taio Cruz, which peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart in January 2009.[2] He then released the song "Number 1", (a collaboration with N-Dubz) which entered the UK chart at number 1, on April 26, 2009.[2] Stryder later released "Never Leave You" with Amelle Berrabah from girl-group Sugababes which became Stryder's second number 1, on August 9, 2009.[2]

In 2010, Tinchy Stryder released his third solo studio album, Third Strike, which failed to match the commercial success of Catch 22.[3] The album charted poorly when released, only peaking at #48 on the UK Albums Chart despite his previous album, Catch 22, peaking at #2 on this chart. However, Third Strike, peaked at #2 on the UK Dance Chart.

On BBC Radio 1's Chart Show, it was revealed that the song "Number 1" is notably the first song in chart history entitled "Number 1" ever to actually reach #1, and with his height at 5'1" (1.55m)[4] this makes him the shortest male artist to have ever topped the UK Top 40.[4][5]
