ThoughtWorks Studios

ThoughtWorks Studios is the software division of ThoughtWorks, an IT consultancy. It creates software development tools for project teams.[1] ThoughtWorks Studios' products include Mingle for Agile project management, Go for Agile release management and Twist for Agile testing.

History

ThoughtWorks Studios was started in 2006 by ThoughtWorks[2]. ThoughtWorks Studios released its first product, Mingle a tool for project management in 2007[3]. In September 2008, it released Cruise, its continuous integration and release management product[4]. Their third product, Twist, a test automation solution, was released in early 2009[5].

ThoughtWorks Studios announced their Adaptive ALM solution on August 17, 2009[6]. Adaptive ALM integrates Mingle, Cruise and Twist [7][8].

In 2010, ThoughtWorks Studios announced Go as a successor to Cruise[9]. Go is a release management and continuous delivery product[10].
