Tipparti, Thipparthi or Thipparthy (Telugu: తిప్పర్తి) is a historical village in the Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh. Thipparthy is located 18 kilometers away from the District Head Quarters of Nalgonda, 24 kilometers away from Miryalguda, and 120 kilometers away from the state capital of Hyderabad. It is near Suryapet.

The village was a Taluk in the past. Currently it is a Mandal Head Quarter. Due to its geographical location, it has remained undeveloped.

Although the village plays a key role in district politics, the people and the village have been neglected by all political parties. Attempts were never made to improve the status and amenities in the Govt. Primary & Secondary Schools present in the village. Post SSC, students would have to join the colleges either in Nalgonda or in Miryalaguda as there is/are no intermediate/degree collage(s) to pursue further.

People

People of this village are very generous and helpful and this village is giving life to many orphans and disabled people. People of this village are seeking help from the Govt and Volunteer Organizations in getting minimum daily amenities. Many people are impacted by fluorosis, as the fluoride levels of the drinking water are very high. The population of this village is 25,000. 30% are educated and 10% of people are less than 15 years old. The population is 54% male and 46% female. The majority of citizens live as farmers. The main water resource is rain. Most of the people are intelligents. Vijaya fertilizers and Pesticides, a shop established in 1979, is opposite Bus Stand. Nowadays people are interested in starting Small Scale Industries like Rice mills,PVC manufacturing Units. It is a welcome sign for the development of village.

Notable people

Sardar Chakkilam Srinivas Rao hailed from this village. He was a leader who fought against rajakars and communists.
