Thinornis is a genus of plovers which consists of two extant species, both of which are threatened. They are variously placed in the genus Charadrius.
A third described species, the Auckland Islands Shore Plover (Thinornis rossi), which is only known by one specimen collected in 1840, is of uncertain status.
