The Sun-Herald is an Australian tabloid newspaper published on Sundays in Sydney by Fairfax Media. It is the Sunday counterpart of The Sydney Morning Herald. In the 6 months to September 2005, The Sun-Herald had a circulation of 515,000. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, as of December 2009 its circulation has dropped to 443,257.[1]

Its predecessor the broadsheet Sunday Herald was first published in 1953. In 1988 with the discontinuation of the afternoon tabloid The Sun, the Sunday Sun was merged with the Sunday Herald to become the tabloid Sun-Herald.[2]

The Sun-Herald has a readership of 1,159,000 (as of December 2009). Its target audience is generally more educated and affluent readers.[1]
