The OCD Project is an American reality television series which follows the cognitive-behavioral treatment of six people suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The series premiered on May 27, 2010 on the VH1 television network.
Synopsis
The show follows Dr. David Tolin and his exposure-based treatment of six patients living together in a Southern California mansion.[1][2] The treatment, called exposure and response prevention, can seem unorthodox but is a recommended treatment for OCD.[3][4]
