The Mall at Fairfield Commons
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is a shopping center in Beavercreek, Ohio. The mall was opened in 1993 and has two floors featuring six anchor stores and a food court.[1] Located adjacent to Interstate 675, it's near a golf course, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University and Nutter Center entertainment complex. The mall is located just south of the interstate on North Fairfield Road (Veterans Memorial Highway), a main thoroughfare through Beavercreek.[2] It offers over 140 different shops, restaurants, and department stores.[3]
Ownership
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is owned by the Glimcher Realty Trust, the owners of the Dayton Mall. Recently, Beavercreek welcomed the arrival of another upscale mall known as The Greene Town Center. This decision has pushed for the development for a lifestyle center located near the property, however these plans appear to be on hold at the Fairfield Mall. The Mall at Fairfield Commons also spurred similarities to other malls such as the Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus, Ohio.
